WHO ARE WE?

Purpose Academy of Leadership (PAL) is a Florida Department of Education approved private school of choice, located in Broward County in South Florida.

Purpose Academy of Leadership (PAL) is a leadership training academy that was established with a vision to provide the necessary tools for success to students who need a second chance at success in life, education, and vocation/career readiness. This unique leadership training educational facility is the only academy of its kind in South Florida that provides leadership skills training and development with a focus on students' discovery and understanding of their individual leadership potential and purpose in life, business, education, vocation, and ministry.  Our credit recovery, student-focused, and result driven private school provides broad-based learning approaches and experiences that the students will use for the rest of their lives.

Purpose Academy of Leadership (PAL) offers a standard and professional teaching and development program in a highly secure, and conducive learning environment to all our students that are still in secondary grades level (6th through 12th grade and are between the ages 13-22). We serve both on campus and online students.  Our online learning program consist of students ages 13 to 22 in middle grades to high school.  Our special online education program serves students nationally and internationally.

Purpose Academy of Leadership provides a rigorous curriculum with a focus on excellence in education, leadership skills development, study skills, assessments/test-taking techniques and strategies, as well as purpose discovery writing, mission statement development, and the unified arts. Our students are required to enroll in our Board Room Leadership Development Studies, and Fitness & Wellness Workshop sessions, which is a mandatory requirement and training for all students.  Our rigorous curriculum is designed to prepare students to pass the state’s standardized assessments, and college entrance exams.  

Purpose Academy of Leadership caters to students needing a smaller classroom setting, students who are gifted, or learn differently, and those students who have experienced being bullied and need a school that will recognize and appreciate their gifts and unique ability.  

Our students are given individualized instruction via 1:1 or small group instruction and academic coaching in a small classroom setting, thus giving them the opportunity to excel, and giving them a second chance at education and vocation/career success. We also provide our student and parents with a Family and Student Support Team as needed, as well as provide the best post-secondary college preparatory and career readiness programs to our students. Students receive individualize college and career counseling, as well as guidance in discovering, and developing their individual potential and purpose in leadership in all areas of their lives. We work hard to meet and surpass all our students’ expectations, and educational goals when they enroll in our leadership academy/college preparatory school.

Our leadership team and professional instructors are committed to developing future successful leaders by training teaching, and guiding our students to discover and develop their leadership potential and purpose in life, business, education, and vocation. Although our school is committed to serving all students, our school has a zero tolerance school policy for negative behaviors and insubordination.  We expect our students to come willingly, ready to receive, ready to learn, ready to obey school rules, and ready to make a change and difference in their lives and their community as potential leaders.
